Julia holds a Master of Business Administration and an Associate Diploma in Accounting.

She has worked in the not for profit sector in various roles for more than 20 years and most recently her experience in philanthropy was gained through representing South Australia and Western Australia as the State Manager for the peak body for philanthropy, Philanthropy Australia. With a background in general management and a strong client focus, based on good relationships, she is passionate about encouraging the growth of philanthropy at all levels.

Julia leads JM Philanthropy and acts as CEO of a number of foundations. She also manages the Klein Family Foundation, sits on the Board of Impact100 SA, Pembroke School, Pembroke School Foundation and is a member of the Institute of Company Directors.

Julia enjoys spending time with her family and two busy children, loves being outdoors; skiing, camping, walking or bike riding through the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
