Meet the Team

David Minns

Executive Chairman

With experience spanning more than 30 years, David is a specialist advisor sought after by families and businesses around the country.

Drawing on industry specific experience that includes taxation, superannuation, investment management, property investment and development and professional practices, David provides exceptional business advice ensuring clients are best placed for even the most uncertain of times.

A passionate family man, David has established a holistic suite of services designed specifically for families with complex needs. He works closely with families seeking to maintain and grow their wealth over generations, advising on what structures, processes, and leadership will be required to achieve their goals. Through his advice, he ensures that they can have peace of mind and focus on what is most important to them.

David has also successfully established some of Adelaide’s largest philanthropic foundations and is a dynamic leader of best-practice governance and grantmaking. He understands that every person’s philanthropic motivation is different and how to best structure and support these aspirations.

Throughout his career, David has given his time as a board member to Pembroke School, the Pembroke Foundation, the Fay Fuller Foundation, the Wyatt Benevolent Institution and Ukaria.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and attending jazz and classical music performances.

Phil Jaquillard

Director

Qualified with a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Phil has experience in both commerce and the profession.

His experience includes positions at KPMG, Horwath & Horwath, as Financial Accountant with Motorola Communications based in Melbourne, and as General Manager with Film and Television Associates Limited in Adelaide. The mix of experience places Phil in a unique position to advise clients in a wide range of areas.

Phil's approach to engagements is results-oriented, with a strong emphasis on clearly defining a client's needs and then delivering tailor-made solutions to satisfy those needs. Taking a hands-on role, Phil is closely involved in the conduct and review of all engagements. He advises clients on tax issues, finance, business sales and purchases, superannuation, IT/reporting systems, and project management.

Phil is Treasurer of the Mary Potter Foundation, which provides palliative care services in South Australia, and of the Sight for All Foundation, a charity that aims to prevent blindness in Aboriginal communities in Australia and our South East Asian neighbours.

Phil is President of the Philippines Business Chamber of South Australia and has regularly conducted study missions to the Philippines since 2008 to assist Australian businesses in establishing operations offshore. He is also a member of the Australia China Business Council and manages the firm's China engagements.

Mark Ma

Managing Director

As a highly qualified and experienced professional, Mark brings extensive expertise in accounting and finance, specialising in financial reporting, forecast modelling, and cloud-based accounting systems.

Since joining Jaquillard Minns in 2014, Mark has played a pivotal role in serving a diverse client base that includes small and medium-sized businesses, start-ups, high-net-worth individuals, large proprietary companies, and listed public companies.

As Managing Director at Jaquillard Minns, Mark also leads the China & Japan Desk, leveraging his fluency in Mandarin and Japanese to support our clients' international needs. His work encompasses a wide range of services, including financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of Microsoft Power BI dashboards.

Mark is also proficient in Excel VBA programming, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our financial analysis and reporting processes.

Mark Lane

Director

Mark has shown remarkable dedication and skill since joining our team. His focus on small businesses and high-net-worth families has fostered strong, lasting relationships and contributed significantly to our firm’s growth.

During his career, Mark has been exposed to a wide range of clients and industries, with a particular focus on the real estate and construction industry. Mark’s commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of his clients has set him apart as a trusted advisor.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys travelling, socialising with his friends and family, and all things sports, especially supporting the Port Adelaide Football Club. He also enjoys visiting Adelaide’s wine regions, camping and traveling with his partner and puppy, and spending time with his friends and family.

Bryn Coudraye

Director

Bryn brings a wealth of expertise and a broad skill set that spans both corporate and private client financial strategies. His strategic thinking and leadership have consistently enhanced our firm's offerings and client satisfaction.

His ability to seamlessly transition between the complexities of corporate financial strategies and the nuanced needs of private clients has set him apart as a versatile and highly skilled professional. Bryn's comprehensive understanding of different client needs ensures that every client, regardless of their financial landscape, receives tailored, strategic advice that drives success.

In recent times, Bryn's experience in dealing with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) matters has been welcomed by the firm. He has successfully navigated numerous ATO engagement programs and compliance issues, providing clients with peace of mind and expert guidance. His ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with the ATO has proven invaluable, ensuring that our clients are always in the best possible position when facing regulatory challenges.

Outside of work, Bryn enjoys staying fit through rowing, cycling and other outdoor activities, and finds fulfilment in rowing coaching and helping his rowing club as an active committee member.

Bryn was also previously an Olympian, as part of the men’s rowing eight at the London Olympics.

Julia Steele Scott

JM Philanthropy CEO

Julia is the Chief Executive Officer of Grant Toolbox and JM Philanthropy, bringing a wealth of experience from her senior roles with Philanthropy Australia.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and an Associate Diploma in Accounting.

Julia leverages her management background to assist for-purpose organisations, foundations, and corporations in making a meaningful impact through tailored advice and best-practice grants management software.

Passionate about fostering philanthropy, Julia is a founding member of Impact100SA and actively serves on the boards of several philanthropic foundations and not-for-profit organisations.

She is grateful for her wonderful family, her talented and clever work team, and the clients they love to support in achieving their goals.

Megan Fong

Associate Director

Megan is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over a decade of experience working for international accounting firms based in Hong Kong, where she focused primarily on Hong Kong and China taxes.

Since relocating to Australia in 2020, Megan has been providing expert accounting and tax services to a diverse range of clients at a boutique firm in Adelaide and has developed strong expertise in Australian tax.

Megan prioritises her clients' best interests. She is committed to building strong relationships with clients based on open communication and trust. With her expertise in tax, she is well-suited to help individuals and businesses navigate complex issues and ensure they feel supported and confident in their financial and managerial decisions.

Megan’s dedication and expertise have been instrumental in strengthening our international client relationships and expanding our presence in the Asian market.
Outside of work Megan enjoys traveling and hiking to explore new cultures and landscapes. She also likes playing badminton and practising yoga.

Peter Martino

Client Manager

Peter is an experienced client manager with over a decade of experience working for various boutique consulting & taxation practices.

He was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 2014.

Over the years, Peter has worked with a wide range of clients, including medium-sized businesses with reporting requirements, high net-wealth family groups, and primary producers. His focus is on providing tailored consulting advice and ensuring taxation obligations are handled effectively. Peter is a strong advocate of proactive advice that facilitates better decision-making.

When he is not working hard at his job, Peter enjoys spending time with his young family and attending Adelaide United home games.

Greggie Sanchez

Client Manager

Greggie boasts a robust background in accounting and consulting, spanning over 10 years across the Philippines and Australia.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and an MBA from De La Salle University.

His international experience includes roles at respected firms like JPMorgan and Toyota. Greggie’s professional influence extends beyond the corporate sphere. For over eight years, he served as an accounting lecturer and CPA reviewer in the Philippines.

Greggie has a notable history with Jaquillard Minns. He joined as a JM Consult Manager in the Philippine office in 2013, initially assisting Australian clients in establishing businesses in the Philippines. He then transitioned to the SuperGuardian / PortfolioGuardian team and was warmly welcomed to the Adelaide office in 2018.

Specialising in investment reporting and compliance for not-for-profit organisations, Greggie earned client appreciation for his dedication and understanding. In 2023, he rejoined the Jaquillard Minns team, bringing back his wealth of expertise and unwavering enthusiasm for exceptional client service.

Greggie is passionate about helping clients navigate their business operations and tax matters, ensuring they achieve their financial goals with confidence. His journey underscores his unyielding dedication to excellence. Backed by a diverse and solid foundation, he continues to positively impact Jaquillard Minns’ clientele.

Passionate about leading an active lifestyle to balance work and life, Greggie enjoys spending his free time walking, exploring new destinations, unwinding by the beach, playing board games, and watching TV series and movies.

Goran Vujasinovic

Client Manager

With a decade of experience in business advisory, taxation, and investment reporting, Goran Vujasinovic brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Banking and International Finance and a Master's degree in Accounting, Goran has a strong academic foundation that complements his practical experience.

Specialising in investment reporting, dashboard reporting using PowerBi, and providing services for the not-for-profit sector, Goran is dedicated to delivering tailored financial solutions that meet each client's unique needs. His comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape and commitment to excellence ensure that clients receive the highest quality of service and advice.

Karen Mae Mondares

Senior Accountant

Karen has been dedicated to supporting small and medium enterprises in Australia for over nine years.

With extensive expertise in Xero accounting software and proficiency in QuickBooks and MYOB, she offers a comprehensive range of skills.

From meticulous bookkeeping and preparation of management reports to the creation of year-end financial statements and tax returns, Karen excels in all facets of accounting. She takes great pride in helping clients navigate their financial landscapes.

Currently, Karen is working towards full membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, aiming to enhance the quality of service she provides.

When she's not immersed in accounting, Karen enjoys trying out new recipes, delighting in sharing her culinary creations with friends and loved ones.

Allen Sun

Senior Accountant

As a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Allen applies his expertise in accounting and tax to deliver exceptional service to clients.

With a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Adelaide and fluency in Mandarin, Allen brings a global perspective to his work and effectively communicates with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Allen is a Certified Xero Advisor and a Microsoft Certified Excel Specialist. Throughout his career working with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large proprietary corporations and listed public companies, Allen has developed strong client relationships built on trust and open communication.

Outside of work, Allen enjoys travelling with family and friends. He is also a basketball fan.

Kathy Foster

Executive Assistant

Kathy has been with Jaquillard Minns since October 2017, following a 25-year career with a major bank. Her extensive banking experience spans all sectors, from lending to term deposits.
