Wealth Management
The key objective of our wealth management service is to gain an overall understanding of your objectives, and to ensure that your wealth is maximised so that you can maintain a comfortable lifestyle through your retirement years.
This is done using a variety of skills throughout the firm. The starting point is often a review to ascertain your existing position, assets, liabilities, taxation rates and business structures.
We may then recommend a change in structure to ensure that over the longer term income tax and capital gains tax is minimised. This may involve the establishment of trusts, or may extend to advice in relation to asset allocation and nature and spread of investment assets.
Significant increases in wealth can be achieved through strategic planning, and the earlier this planning is conducted, the greater the long term benefits.
Whilst we are not investment advisers and so cannot provide specific investment advice, we play an important role in ensuring the overall structure is sound, and that not all of your eggs are in one basket.
We also review any specific advice offered to you by your Financial Planner to ensure they have taken into account any broader issues such as taxation, an adequate spreads of investments between sectors, and how your personal financial affairs are influenced by what may be happening in your business or employment.
We also examine their remuneration structures to ensure that levels of remuneration are fair and that their advice is not biased towards commission based products.
Our wealth management services are headed by David Minns, who holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment and is an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.
