Phil Jaquillard, FCA, Partner
Qualified with a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Phil has experience in both commerce and the profession. His experience includes positions at KPMG, Horwath & Horwath, as Financial Accountant with Motorola Communications based in Melbourne, and as General Manager with Film and Television Associates Limited in Adelaide. The mix of experience places Phil in a unique position to advise clients in a wide range of areas.
Phil's approach to engagements is results oriented, with a strong emphasis on clearly defining a client's needs and then delivering tailor made solutions to satisfy those needs. Taking a hands-on role, Phil is closely involved in the conduct and review of all engagements. He advises clients on tax issues, finance, business sale and purchases, superannuation, IT/reporting systems and project management.
David Minns, FCA, Partner
David holds a Bachelor of Economics degree and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment. He has extensive experience gained from positions with KPMG and Pannell Kerr Forster where he specialised in taxation consulting and business advisory services.
David also has considerable industry specific experience and knowledge in Pharmacy, Property Investment and Development, Professional Practices and the manufacturing sector. He also has an interest in superannuation and investment management, having successfully implemented numerous wealth accumulation strategies for high net worth clients.
David also has a particular focus on advising the Pharmacy industry and heads up the Pharmacy division of the firm.
Areas of David's expertise include taxation, financial management, superannuation, management accounting and charitable foundations.
Richard Lovell, FCA, Director, Hospitality Division
Rick Lovell, F.C.A. graduated from SA Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Accounting degree and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1978. He has been involved in public practice since 1976, including at partnership level from 1981 and subsequently as a consultant in the hospitality area.
Rick is Secretary / Treasurer of the Australian Hotels Association (SA), a member of the Executive Committee of the AHA (SA) and a delegate to the National Board of the AHA. Having been involved in Hospitality for most of his career, Rick consults to hotel proprietors on a range of issues, including taxation, sale and purchase of lease and freehold interests, hotel management, financial reporting, financing and operational issues.
